Last year at Expo East (a Trade Show we attend to see what is new, what is trending and look for the products we think you will want and need) we found Dr. Plotka’s Toothbrushes.  The idea of using silver is not new to us and we were very interested in these brushes.  We came back and showed them to our team, looking over and researching the product, we decided to add them.  They debuted in our Fall 2021 catalog.  We carry both the adult and children’s sizes.  Since then, we have added their Whitening Toothpaste.

Antimicrobial Toothbrushes ~ I like the nice clean feeling of using these brushes. Wouldn't want to go back to my old traditional one!

Let’s take a closer look at these brushes.

They use an innovative antimicrobial silver technology. Considering the fact our toothbrushes are home to millions of harmful microorganisms that thrive in warm, moist environment of our bathrooms, these silver infused bristles are just what we need.  Not only are they stopping the growth of these microbes, between uses the infused polyester bristles have enough silver to eliminate 99% of all the gross stuff making it virtually germ-free and ready for your next use.

These brushes also last longer.  They feature a polyester bristle, polyester is a durable material.  Most toothbrushes are made with nylon bristles.  This toothbrush will last up to 4 months – a month longer than a normal brush.  That isn’t the only thing that sets these bristles apart from others on the market.  Dr. Plotka’s Toothbrushes have Flossing Bristles!

FLOSSING BRISTLES

The long, soft, floss-like multi-layered bristles are 10X thinner than other bristles.  They break up plaque and sweep away food and debris that other brushes miss. The tip of each flossing bristle is smaller than a human hair, this allows the bristles to go between teeth, under the gum-line, and deep into the grooves where 95% of cavities form.
