DIY All Natural Homemade Lotion
Homemade Lotion
This is a very easy all-natural homemade lotion. No harsh chemicals and free of parabens this recipe using essential oils, aloe vera gel and fractionated coconut oil. It takes about 5 minutes to mix up. It is non-greasy and absorbs quickly.
Lily of the Desert Aloe Vera Gelly is 99% pure aloe vera gel blending this with liquid fractionated coconut oil is what creates a light, homemade lotion that is not heavy or greasy! Using essential oils will give the lotion a great scent as well as additional aromatherapy benefits.
Ingredients:
- 1 cup Lily of the Desert aloe vera gelly
- 4 Tbsp. fractionated coconut oil
- 10-20 drops essential oil of choice
- 1 tsp. vitamin E oil (optional)
Instructions:
--Combine all the ingredients in a medium-size bowl.
--Mix the ingredients with a hand-held mixture for approximately one minute or until it reaches a lotion-like consistency.
--You’ll know the lotion is done when it is slightly gelatinous and has the look of a store-bought lotion.
--It can be stored in a small glass jar or pump bottle for 3 months. You can store it in the refrigerator to extend freshness.
